Heavy Rain Warning for Northern Vietnam
Northern Vietnam will have heavy rain from August 4 to August 6, with some places getting over 300 mm of rain.
The rain will start on August 4 and last until August 6, affecting many provinces.
Some areas may get over 300 mm of rain.
Most areas will get 100-200 mm of rain, but some places may get more than 300 mm.
The heaviest rain will be in the late afternoon and evening.
Here is the forecast:
On August 4 and 5, some areas will get 40-80 mm of rain, with some places getting over 130 mm.
On the night of August 5, some areas will get 60-120 mm of rain.

Ten provinces are at high risk for heavy rain.
The 10 provinces that may have heavy rain are Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An.
Before the main rain comes, there will be thunderstorms and heavy rain on August 3 and 4.
The rain on August 3 and 4 may be 10-35 mm, but some areas may get over 100 mm.
There is a risk of flooding and landslides.
Thunderstorms may have lightning, hail, strong winds, and severe weather.
Heavy rain may cause flooding in cities and populated areas.
Mountain areas should be careful of flash floods and landslides.
