The UK sent the most visitors to Spain in June. Nearly 2.3 million people came, which is 6.8% more than last year. The UK is Spain's largest source market.
The US also sent more tourists to Spain. Almost 614,000 people came, which is 12.3% more than last year.
More direct flights between Spain and North America help tourism. Visitors from these areas spend more per day than those from Europe. This is according to InSpain News.
Fewer tourists came from Ireland. Around 325,000 Irish tourists visited Spain in June, which is 9.2% less than last year. This is the biggest drop among Spain's main source markets.
From January to June 2026, 46.57 million international visitors came to Spain. This is 4.6% more than the same time last year. Many people visited Spain in the first half of the year.
Spain expects 100 million tourists this year. Last year, it had a record 97 million visitors.
