Ex-husband's Family Asks Me to Move Back In

I was married for 10 years and had a small business with my husband. We often disagreed and didn't talk much. I felt like he didn't truly love me. He never said he loved me or showed me affection. He would criticize me for not being well educated.

He didn't help much with our children and rarely played with them.

A couple is arguing.

I know I'm not perfect. I'm not a good cook and don't like shopping. We didn't have much money, so I didn't spend much on myself. I thought that after 10 years and two children, other things didn't matter as long as we raised our family.

I didn't expect him to have affairs with other women and start a relationship with a divorced woman. She got pregnant.

He said she was his true love and their unborn child needed a father. He wanted me to agree to a divorce.

I was very sad. He said he loved the other woman and her child, but what about me and our daughters? Didn't they deserve a father too?

I didn't want him to leave easily, so he filed for divorce. I was heartbroken when I got the court summons.

Soon after, his family visited the other woman's family to arrange their marriage. Her family was rich, and she owned a house and bought him a car.

It's been three years since the divorce, and my life has changed a lot. I'm happier and more outgoing now, and people say I look younger and prettier.

Some men are interested in me, but I'm not ready for another relationship. I'm at peace with my life and focus on raising my daughter who lives with me.

My ex-husband and his parents recently called me. They want me and my daughter to move back into their home so I can care for them and our other daughter.

They said it's hard for them to care for our daughter because of their age and health. They also said it would be good for our daughters to live together again.

My ex-husband now lives with his new wife and son.

I don't understand why they think it's okay to ask me to move back and care for his parents after everything that happened.

My younger daughter has ADHD, which can be challenging. I asked my ex-husband to let her live with me, but he refused.

I don't have enough money to raise both daughters, but I also can't imagine moving back into my former in-laws' home.

I've finally rebuilt my life after the divorce. I don't want to go back to a place where I was unhappy, but I worry about my daughter.

What should I do?
