Manchester United to Make £51m Bid for Midfielder

Manchester United may offer €60million (£51m) for Paris Saint-Germain's Warren Zaire-Emery. The club first looked at signing him in 2023 when he was 17.

Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans have joined United for £85m. The club is also looking at Manu Kone and Alex Scott, but they may need to spend more to sign another player.

Zaire-Emery does not play as much for PSG, which could help United when talking about a deal. A French news outlet says United is getting ready to offer €60million (£51m) to see if PSG will sell.

PSG thinks Zaire-Emery is worth €80m (£68m). He played 54 games in the 2025/26 season and also played for France in the World Cup.

It is not clear if Zaire-Emery wants to leave PSG, as he has played in many games. However, when some players got hurt, he played more, but then went back to the bench when they got better.

United has also looked at signing forwards like Iliman Ndiaye and Crysencio Summerville. Summerville was going to join AS Roma but instead joined Al Hilal for €80m (£68m).

United was interested in Summerville, but it depended on what happened with Marcus Rashford. Rashford is staying at United, as Barcelona signed other players instead.

United's new season starts with a game against Hull City. The team has already started getting ready for the season, and Rashford may play in a few friendly games after his break.
