The bill would stop ICE and Customs from using data from the TSA. This data includes passenger screening records and travel information.

A TSA spokesperson disagreed with Tlaib's bill. They said it would make the US more vulnerable to terror threats. The spokesperson mentioned the 9/11 attacks.

If the bill passes, it could limit DHS's ability to coordinate immigration enforcement.
