The recall covers 1‑kilogram bags (UPC 695058002054) and 5‑kilogram bags (UPC 10695058002051). Both have a best‑before date of November 10 2027.

These products were sold to the public, hotels, restaurants and institutions in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba.

The CFIA tells consumers not to eat, serve, sell or give away the recalled raspberries. They should either throw them away or return them to the store where they were bought.

Norovirus can cause diarrhea, vomiting, nausea and stomach pain. According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, symptoms may begin as soon as 12 hours after exposure and there is no prescription medicine to cure it.
