This new version from Apple has some design changes and updates. However, the biggest news is not about new features or designs. iOS 27 beta 5 has information about six new iPhone models, which means the new iPhone 18 lineup is coming.

The most noticeable updates in iOS 27 beta 5 are new icons for some major Apple apps. Safari, Siri, and other apps have new icons. Some other apps have minor updates too.

Siri's AI is getting better. iOS 27 beta 5 lets users change Siri's voice more. Users can adjust the speed and tone of Siri's voice for American and British English.

The Contacts app has a small update. If a contact is linked to a company, the company name will show up under the contact's name and in search results.

Apple is giving users more control over the Search function. Users can choose if they want to see app results in Search. They can also decide how many apps to show in Search results. There's a new option to search the web at the bottom of Search results.

There are many other small updates. For example, the Software Update section will show when the last update was installed. The Clock app uses a thicker font for alarms and timers. The Control Center no longer shows cellular network information when connected to WiFi.

There have been many rumors about Apple's new iPhones. But iOS 27 beta 5 has strong evidence that these devices are coming. The iPhone system files mention six new iPhone models, along with the existing ones.

Previous reports say these new models are the iPhone Air 2, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone 18, a foldable iPhone, and iPhone 18e.

To update to iOS 27 beta 5, open the Settings app, tap General, and select Software Update. Then, choose the iOS 27 Developer Beta, and your iPhone will update to the latest version.
