Rugby Game Stopped After Player Gets Hurt

The Rugby League game between St Helens and Wigan Warriors stopped when Nathan Lowe got hurt and lost consciousness.

Lowe was playing well in his second Super League game for Wigan, but he got hurt just before half-time at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Lowe was tackled by some St Helens players and hurt his leg, and it was clear he was seriously injured.

The medical team helped him up, but he fainted as they were walking him off the field. They had to lay him down near the sideline.

Paramedics helped him up again, but he lost consciousness and had to be laid down near the sideline.

The referee stopped the game because of Lowe's condition, and it took a few minutes to get him off the field on a stretcher.

Wigan Warriors said on social media that Lowe was getting medical treatment and was taken off the field on a stretcher.

St Helens said they hoped Lowe would get better soon. They also said the game would continue after a short stop.

The game was stopped to make sure Lowe was safe, and then it started again with no penalty.
