Arjun Vishal Prajapati, a five‑year‑old living in Canada, has attracted attention for his extraordinary learning. His story offers a clear example of how a supportive, pressure‑free environment can help a gifted child thrive.
He scored 141 on the Stanford‑Binet IQ test, which places him in the top 0.3 % of intelligence. By the age of five he had read more than 3,000 books and finished enrichment courses in human physiology and cell biology through Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development.
His parents deliberately avoid a rigid academic schedule, choosing instead to encourage his interests and to teach kindness, compassion and perseverance. They also keep several books in the car so he can read while traveling.
Arjun demonstrates advanced knowledge in mathematics, astronomy and medicine. He can solve multiplication tables up to 20, discuss black holes and even suggested building a machine that detects germs as soon as they enter the body.
In October, he received a Certificate of Recognition and Achievement from the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, highlighting his exceptional abilities. The honor reinforces the idea that talent flourishes when children are guided with care rather than pressure.
