Da Nang City has signed a 2026‑30 cooperation agreement with low‑cost carrier Vietjet. The deal will put pictures of the city on Vietjet planes and will help the city add more international flights. This is important for tourists and investors.

Vietjet will start new routes from Da Nang to Osaka in Japan and Jakarta in Indonesia on 20 December. The airline also plans to open routes to markets such as India, Australia, Central Asia and the Middle East. These routes aim to link Da Nang with more travel hubs.

Between January and October, Vietjet operated more than 13,000 flights and carried over 2.3 million passengers to Da Nang. The flights cover seven of the city’s eight domestic routes, five of its 19 scheduled international routes and 13 charter routes, about 33‑38 flights each day. In the same 10‑month period, Da Nang welcomed over 17 million visitors, a 24.5 % rise, with international arrivals above 8.3 million. The initiative also seeks growth in tourism, trade, investment, cargo transportation, logistics and digital transformation.

The partnership shows how Da Nang uses airline branding and new routes to boost tourism and business. By connecting more cities and showing the city’s attractions on planes, Da Nang hopes to attract more visitors and investors.
