Seventh‑grade student Ta Ngoc Cat Tuong from Ho Chi Minh City has become a champion in aerobic gymnastics and a national award winner. Her story shows how hard work and good time management can help students succeed in school and sport.
She won gold medals at the 2026 Suzuki World Cup in Tokyo in the women's individual and trio events. She also won gold medals in the trio and five‑person group events at the 2026 Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships in the Philippines, and a silver medal in the individual event. The State President of Vietnam awarded her the First‑Class Labor Order.
Since sixth grade, she trains four hours each day, from 5 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Saturday. When she prepares for a major competition, she trains from 7 am to noon and again from 3 pm to 7 pm, while her school day runs from 7 am to 4 pm.
Despite this busy schedule, she keeps an excellent academic record and earned her school’s excellent student title. Vice‑principal Tran Minh Thanh says she is hardworking, diligent and resilient, and she always finishes all teacher assignments.
Ta Ngoc Cat Tuong’s routine shows that perseverance and careful time management can lead to success in both studies and elite sport. Young students can learn from her example to balance school work and extracurricular goals.
