The Korean Language program, the Korea Foundation and the King Sejong Institute organized K‑EXPERIENCE DAY 2026 at the Vietnam Aviation Academy in Ho Chi Minh City. The event combined academic talks with cultural workshops, offering a vivid example of why cultural exchange matters for students.

Prof. Dr. Ha Nam Khanh Giao, deputy director of the academy, said cultural exchanges help strengthen and sustain the friendship between Vietnam and South Korea. The academy also believes that foreign‑language proficiency, intercultural understanding and international‑cooperation skills are essential for training aviation professionals in a globally connected industry.

Giao explained that the Korean Language program aims to blend Korean language proficiency with knowledge of Korean culture and the aviation sector, so graduates can meet the demands of the labour market. This approach prepares students to use language skills in real‑world professional settings.

Students made kimchi, tried on hanbok, practiced calligraphy and played traditional games such as tuho and yut. These activities gave them practical cultural experience that complements their language studies.

Valedictorian Nguyen Ngoc Dan Thanh said extracurricular activities and cultural exchanges broaden knowledge, improve communication skills and help students understand Korean customs. She encouraged peers to join similar events to build connections with Korean students across Vietnam and South Korea.
