Citi Raises Vietnam's 2026 Economic Growth Forecast

Citi Raises Vietnam's 2026 Economic Growth Forecast
Vietnam's economy grew 8.5% in the second quarter. It grew 7.9% in the first quarter. Citi now expects 8% growth for the year. This is up from its previous forecast of low 7%.
Exports have been stronger than expected. The US buys about 30% of Vietnam's exports. Electronics are doing well due to global investment in artificial intelligence.
