The golden rectangle is a shape that people think looks nice. Gustav Fechner said many people like it the most, but this is not true. You can see the golden ratio in sunflower seeds and some things in nature, but not in many things.

Some people use the golden ratio to look at faces and say it shows who is pretty. They use phone apps or pictures, but this is not right. The golden ratio does not show who looks good, because every face is unique and good in its own way.

There are some difficult words to know: shape means the outline of something, rectangle is a shape with four sides, and face is the front part of your head.
