House of the Dragon Season 3: Dragon Numbers

House of the Dragon Season 3: Dragon Numbers
With a dragon returning and some switching sides, let's check if Rhaenyra Targaryen still has the numbers to win the war.
There are 5 confirmed dragons in total, not counting Joffrey Velaryon's baby dragon Tyraxes.
Rhaenyra Targaryen is a dragon rider.
Syrax and Rhaenyra have been through a lot together. In episode 7, Syrax got hurt while fighting Sheepstealer. Despite this, Syrax is strong and will survive.
Damon Targaryen is a dragon rider.
Caraxes is a powerful dragon and Daemon's partner in battle. In episode 7, Caraxes fought Sheepstealer but didn't kill it, possibly to spare Rhaena's feelings.
Baela Targaryen is a dragon rider.
Baela's dragon, Moondancer, has been fighting on the front lines this season, including the Battle of the Gullet.
Addam of Hull is a dragon rider.
Addam's dragon is very beautiful and chose him personally. In episode 7, Seasmoke helped Syrax attack Sheepstealer and seems to be unharmed.
Hugh the Hammer is a dragon rider.
Hugh is loyal to Team Black with his large dragon, Vermithor. However, his visit to Tumbleton was sad, and he was rejected by his wife, which might affect his loyalty.
There are 3 confirmed dragons on the other side, but it's complicated.
A big reveal in episode 7 was that Aegon II Targaryen's dragon, Sunfyre, is alive. This could give Aegon an advantage in the war. However, many people want him dead, including his brother Aemond.
Dreamfyre is a blue dragon ridden by Helaena, who doesn't want to ride it. Dreamfyre is important to the story and has become a key point in Season 3.
Tessarion is a small blue dragon ridden by Prince Daeron Targaryen. We haven't seen much of Tessarion yet, but it has shown its power by burning a prisoner.
Vhagar, the largest dragon, has been missing for most of Season 3. We're not sure where it is, but it's a clever and stealthy dragon. Aegon wants Aemond dead, so maybe Vhagar's return can help him.
Sheepstealer, the wild dragon, was attacked by Syrax, Seasmoke, and Caraxes in episode 7 and left for dead. But is it really dead?
Ulf the White has switched from Team Black to Team Green. He was seen with Lord Ormund Hightower at the end of episode 7. We can't count his dragon, Silverwing, as part of Team Black anymore.
House of the Dragon Season 3 is now streaming on HBO Max, with new episodes every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
The show is about the dragons and the war in Westeros.
