Stellantis Recalls 1.5 Million Ram 1500 Trucks

Stellantis will recall over 1.5 million Ram 1500 trucks. This is because of a problem with the seat belts.

The recall is for vehicles that may have a seat belt buckle that was not attached correctly to the truck.

This issue could make the seat belts not work properly and hurt people. Stellantis knows of one possible injury but no deaths.

The CEO of Stellantis says fixing the company will take time after profits were lower than expected.

The recall includes 1.27 million vehicles in the US, 156,000 in Canada, 15,000 in Mexico, and 75,000 in other countries.

Stellantis will tell owners to take their trucks to a dealer for an inspection. The dealer will check the seat belt buckle and fix it if needed.
