Why Wedding‑Photo Complaints in China Often End Up in Court

The bride, Zhang, said she and her husband signed a contract for 5,000 yuan and paid half of the money before the wedding.

Two months later the couple got a court summons. Zhang later filed a counter‑claim, saying she could not sleep, had lost about 5 kg, and her medical records showed anxiety and depression.

Another bride in Dalian paid 1,000 yuan for a photographer. She also got blurry or heavily retouched photos, and she now has a similar dispute with the wedding company.

These cases show that when people judge photo quality differently, a simple service complaint can become a legal battle.
