Reality TV Star Talks About Her Divorce

A star from a Korean reality dating show shared why she got divorced.

A YouTube video called “The creepy secret my ex-husband hid” was recently uploaded.

In the video, Park Hye Kyung from MBN's Love After Divorce 5 shared her story.

Park talked about her ex-husband and said they lived together before and after their wedding.

She said she divorced him because he hid his illness from her. He had a kidney transplant and she only found out later. She thought his kidneys were damaged from herbal medicine, but she was wrong. Her parents liked him, and she was happy. She thought his health would get better with proper care.

But it was all a lie. He had diabetes since he was young and hid it from her. He even hid it after they got married. He had to inject insulin four times a day, but she didn't know. This surprised the people watching.

The host asked if insulin is given by injection. Park said her ex-husband used a special pen to inject himself in the bathroom.

The host asked if their love couldn't overcome the problem. Park said she thought about it, but she was hurt that he didn't tell her the truth. She felt sad and angry, but also sorry for him because he was afraid of being found out.

Park said she decided to divorce him because she believes a couple should be equal. But she couldn't accept that he always had to be in control.
