FIFA President Gianni Infantino May Move 2030 World Cup Final to Morocco

Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, might give Morocco the chance to host the 2030 World Cup final. This is despite Spain saying they will host the final match of the tournament.

Morocco wants the final to be at the new Hassan II Stadium in Casablanca, which will be the biggest football stadium in the world with 115,000 seats. Infantino's offer would make this stadium the venue for the final, even though many thought it would be in Spain.

The president of the Spanish football association said earlier that Spain would lead the 2030 World Cup and host the final. However, Infantino met with key FIFA staff in Rabat to try and save his presidency after facing criticism for his plans to sell parts of the World Cup.

Many officials, especially in Europe, were very upset about these plans, and UEFA threatened to not participate in the World Cup if they happened. The plans were stopped on Friday, but people are still calling for Infantino to resign.
