Four Michelin-Starred Restaurants in Singapore Closed

Alma by Juan Amador and Euphoria, two Michelin-starred restaurants, closed in August 2025.

Esora and Chaleur, two other Michelin-starred restaurants, also stopped serving food last year.

Even though some restaurants closed, Singapore's fine dining scene is still growing. Six new restaurants got their first Michelin star at an event on August 4.

Now, there are 33 restaurants in Singapore with one Michelin star.

Singapore also has nine restaurants with two Michelin stars and three with three stars.

Many food businesses in Singapore closed this year, with 1,267 shutting down between January and April.

In 2025, a total of 3,148 food businesses closed in Singapore, which is more than in 2024.
