Vancouver police officer and charity CEO faces multiple fraud and theft charges

He was arrested on Thursday and taken into custody, and police officers were seen moving boxes from a house listed as his residence.
Dosanjh now faces several criminal charges, including multiple counts of fraud over $5,000, multiple counts of theft over $5,000, and one count of breach of trust by a public officer.
The fraud and theft charges are linked to three property projects – Azura, Queen’s Park and Sahara – and the alleged offences for those projects occurred between Jan 13 2017 and Oct 31 2024. Sarabjit Singh Gill is named as a co‑defendant and partner in the ventures.
Two additional charges say he stole from the KidsPlay Youth Foundation; those alleged crimes are dated between Dec 8 2017 and July 25 2025.
Both men deny any wrongdoing. Dosanjh’s lawyer said he has committed no crime and is innocent, and that an arrest is not proof of guilt.
