The head of the Commonwealth Games said they work closely with the police and other groups to ensure everyone's safety and that they follow the rules.
It is not clear if the missing athletes want to stay in the country, but the Home Office is watching the situation closely.
The Ugandan government has not commented on the missing boxers, who are two women and two men.
This is not the first time Ugandan athletes have disappeared during a competition. Some did not return after the 2018 Games in Australia and the 2014 Games in Glasgow.
The police and immigration officials are trying to find the missing athletes and figure out why they disappeared.
