The NYT's daily word game is a social media hit. The Times credits Wyna Liu with helping create the game. Connections can be played on web browsers and mobile devices.

Each puzzle has 16 words and four categories. These sets can be book titles, software, or country names. There's only one correct answer.

If you get all four words in a set correct, they are removed from the board. If you guess wrong, it counts as a mistake.

You can rearrange the board to make spotting connections easier. Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest.
