Cameron Menzies Gets Medical Help After Falling Ill During Darts Match

Cameron Menzies has stopped playing in the World Matchplay due to health issues. He had to leave the stage to get medical help during his match against Ross Smith.

Cameron Menzies and Ross Smith were competing to get into the third round when Menzies became unwell. The PDC said Menzies cannot continue playing, so Ross Smith moves on to the quarter-finals. Sky Sports' Emma Paton said: 'Cameron Menzies felt sick when he was winning 2-1 against Ross Smith. The doctors checked him, and he is okay but will not play tonight.'

The PDC said more about what happened to Cameron Menzies during his match against Ross Smith on Wednesday.

Cameron Menzies had high blood pressure, which made him feel dizzy and faint. The medical team checked him and said he can go back to his place.
