Bank employees in Vietnam now get higher pay. Two banks, MB and TPBank, pay over 57 million dong per month. Some banks that used to pay the most are now lower on the list.

Many banks in Vietnam increased pay for employees in the first half of 2026. This made the average monthly pay higher at some banks.

Fifteen out of 27 banks raised employee pay. TPBank and MB had the biggest increases. They are now first and second in average employee pay.

TPBank's average monthly pay per employee went up by 21.77 million dong to 57.77 million dong.

MB's average monthly pay per employee rose by 17.62 million dong to 57.93 million dong, making it the bank with the highest pay.

Sacombank's employee pay went up even though it has fewer workers. Employees now get 44 million dong per month, 14 million dong more than last year.

Vietcombank's employees get 52.6 million dong per month, up 10.6 million dong from last year.

Vietcombank is now third in average employee pay, after MB and TPBank. No other bank pays over 50 million dong per month on average.

LPBank's average monthly pay per employee went up by 9.3 million dong to nearly 37 million dong.

Some other banks also increased their average employee pay.

Most banks that raised pay also did better in business in the second quarter.

The top-paying banks after MB, TPBank, and Vietcombank are Techcombank, VietinBank, Sacombank, and ACB.

ACB has a big difference between base pay and total pay. Total pay is 40.33 million dong, but base pay is only 14.6 million dong.

Most banks pay between 30 million and 40 million dong per month on average.

LPBank had one of the biggest increases in average monthly pay.

SHB's average pay per employee went down by 7 million dong per month.

Techcombank and VPBank also reported lower average pay per employee.

Techcombank no longer has the highest average pay.

The top 10 banks for average pay have changed a lot from last year.

The old ranking might come back when banks release their full-year financial reports.

None of the 27 banks pay less than 20 million dong per month on average.

Saigonbank and VietBank pay the lowest, at 20 million and 20.45 million dong per month.
