Nobody planned this crash. The rocket went up in January 2025. It carried two small spacecraft. After the job, it had no fuel to return. Gravity pulled it to the Moon.

The crash will make a new hole in the Moon. The hole will be about 20 to 30 meters wide. It is too small to see from Earth. But spacecraft will take photos of it. Scientists want to know if old space machines are bad for future astronauts. Old machines in space are called space junk.
