Registration for this phase started on July 28 and ended on July 30.
When there are more applicants than spaces, schools use a ballot to choose students.
Singaporeans who live near the school get priority, then those who live a bit farther away.
Singaporean children who live within 1km of the school get priority.
Singaporean children who live between 1km and 2km from the school are next.
Singaporean children who live further than 2km from the school are after that.
Permanent resident children who live within 1km of the school are also considered.
