Singapore to Give Money to 2.4 Million People

Singapore will give money to 2.4 million people. They will get between S$400 and S$600.

Adults in Singapore can get this money if they earn up to S$100,000 and own one property.

The amount of money each person gets depends on their income and home value.

The government first announced this payment during Budget 2026, with amounts between S$200 and S$400.

In April, the government said it would add S$200 to this one-time payment.

The government wants to help people with their living costs, especially those with lower incomes.

People who are eligible will get their money from September 9 and can check online if they qualify.

People will get a message before and after the money is paid. If they don't have a phone number, they will get a letter.
