Abandoned Airport Terminal Turns Into £200m Hotel

People are lounging by the rooftop pool at the TWA Hotel.

A former airport terminal was changed into a luxury hotel after a £200m restoration.

The TWA Hotel opened in 2019 with a rooftop pool and great views of the airport. It was originally a TWA flight terminal designed by Eero Saarinen.

The hotel has 512 rooms in two buildings at the old terminal.

Designers worked hard to make it look like it did when it first opened in 1962.
