97-year-old British grandma sets world record for oldest female wing walker

Betty Bromage, a 97-year-old woman from Gloucestershire, flew in a plane and walked on its wing.

She did this for the sixth time and first tried it in 2016. She got her first world record at 93 in 2022.

This walk helped raise money for a hospital where she was treated.

She does this because life would be boring if she didn't.

Bromage can't drive and her eyesight is weak, so she focuses on what she can do. She told the BBC about this.

She wants to help charity after seeing a message at a hospital where she used to work.

She will think about doing something special for her 100th birthday.

Wing walking started a long time ago, in the 1920s.

Now, people do it with safety harnesses and a special frame.
