Vietnam‑France AI and Digital‑Twin Hub Opens New Paths for Local Companies and Talent

On November 5 in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung met Pierre Barnabé, the chief operating officer of Dassault Systèmes. Together they confirmed the creation of a Centre of Excellence for digital twins and AI, which will be built with the Ministry of Finance and the National Innovation Centre.
The Vietnamese government says science, technology, innovation and digital transformation are the main drivers of national development in the new era. This policy background explains why the Centre of Excellence receives strong state support.
Deputy Prime Minister Dung urged Dassault Systèmes to deepen cooperation with local businesses, research institutes and universities, turning the partnership into concrete projects. He pointed out that AI and digital‑twin tools could be used in unmanned aerial vehicles, smart manufacturing, transport and smart urban development, opening new research fields and employment routes.
The plan specifically targets small and medium‑sized enterprises, ensuring that solutions are practical and can be scaled. It also stresses protecting intellectual‑property rights and data security, which reassures companies and innovators.
In short, the Hanoi Centre of Excellence aims to bring advanced AI and digital‑twin technology to Vietnamese firms and labs, while creating realistic opportunities for workers and entrepreneurs. Keeping an eye on this collaboration could help you find the next training program or business partner.
