Vietnamese leaders extend condolences to Myanmar, Thailand over powerful quake
Leaders of the Vietnamese state, government, and National Assembly, on Friday extended their condolences to Thai leaders, while Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son extended his sympathy to his Myanmar and Thai counterparts following a magnitude-7.7 earthquake that rocked Myanmar and neighboring Thailand earlier that day.
