For 31 years, Vietnam has shown its commitment to working with ASEAN and has been a leader in regional integration.
Vietnam is an important member of ASEAN, helping to keep the region peaceful and stable, and working with other countries to increase trade and investment.
Vietnam has done a good job of leading ASEAN, including hosting the sixth ASEAN Summit in 1998 and being the chair in 2010 and 2020. In 2020, it suggested several key plans, such as a fund to help with COVID-19 and a center for public health emergencies.
Vietnam has also helped make important decisions for ASEAN, like the Hanoi Plan of Action and the ASEAN Vision 2020.
As ASEAN starts to work on its Vision 2045, Vietnam is working closely with other members to turn plans into action. It has also started the ASEAN Future Forum, which is a place for countries to talk about working together.
Vietnam is helping to connect ASEAN countries and is also working with countries outside of ASEAN, like China and India.
Vietnam has been in charge of ASEAN's relationships with several countries, including China, the European Union, and Japan. It is currently working with the UK and New Zealand.
Vietnam's role in ASEAN is getting more attention from other countries and the international community. This is because Vietnam is working hard to follow its foreign policy and is getting good results.
ASEAN wants to be a strong, innovative, and people-centered community.
ASEAN was started in 1967 and has become a successful example of countries working together in a region.
There are 11 countries in ASEAN, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
ASEAN's success comes from its strong cooperation and programs, like the ASEAN Free Trade Area.
ASEAN works with other countries and groups, and has meetings like the East Asia Summit to talk about regional issues.
Many countries support ASEAN's work and want to be a part of it.
In 2015, ASEAN officially became a community with a vision for 2025, aiming to be a cohesive, integrated, and responsible group.
After 10 years, ASEAN has made significant progress in peace, stability, and prosperity, with high implementation rates of its plans.
ASEAN's economy is also getting stronger, with a growing GDP and more trade agreements.
ASEAN leaders have adopted a new vision for 2045, with plans to make the group more resilient and people-centered.
Despite challenges, ASEAN is making progress in its first year of working on the new vision, focusing on peace, prosperity, and people empowerment.
