Fires near Shuswap Lake in B.C.
Firefighters stopped five suspicious fires near Shuswap Lake on Wednesday. The Columbia Shuswap Regional District reported this. Fires happened in the evening.
Three fires were near each other on Squilax Anglemont Road. Two more fires were in Anglemont Estates.
The district is looking into these fires. The RCMP is helping.
The area around Shuswap Lake has a high fire danger.
