At the scene of the attack, people left messages of support.

A drag artist who was backstage when the attack happened said he was still in shock.

He said he would be back for next year's event.

'We won't let it beat us down,' he said.

There have been several attacks with vehicles in Germany.

The attack comes at a sensitive time for the government, which is going through a tough reshuffle.

State elections are coming up, and the far-right party is campaigning on issues like immigration and security.
