Jurgen Klopp shared how Liverpool tried to sign Kylian Mbappe by meeting him and his family on a private jet before he joined Paris Saint-Germain.

Kylian Mbappe is one of Europe's top strikers, and Liverpool wanted him before he moved to Paris and then Real Madrid. Liverpool was one of the teams that wanted him when he was still at Monaco.

It is known that Mbappe thought about joining Liverpool before choosing Paris Saint-Germain after talks.

Klopp, who was Liverpool's manager then, has now shared more about how the club met with Mbappe and his family when he was deciding his next move.

Klopp said on Magenta TV that Liverpool spent a lot on trying to sign Mbappe, even flying his family on a private jet with many rooms. They flew from Blackpool to Nice and then in a circle to keep the meeting private.

Klopp continued, saying they did everything to impress Mbappe and his family, including flying around in a circle and eating good food.

When asked why the plane just flew in a circle, Klopp explained that they didn't want to be seen, so they flew in a circle, which was a great experience, but Mbappe still chose Paris.

Klopp might return to managing and could face Mbappe in the 2028 Euros. He was seen hugging Mbappe after France won a game.
