Visa‑Free Travel for Chinese Tour Groups to Nha Trang: How It Works
Miễn visa cho đoàn du lịch Trung Quốc đến Nha Trang: Quy định chi tiết

The visa‑exemption policy started on 12 October 2026 and will stay in force until 31 December 2027. It is part of the Vietnam‑China Tourism Cooperation Year 2026‑2027, so it may affect many travel plans.
The exemption applies only to Chinese citizens with ordinary passports who join all‑inclusive tour packages organized by Vietnamese international travel agencies. Groups must have at least two travelers. Tours cannot be longer than 30 days and visitors may only travel inside Khanh Hoa.
Eligible visitors must fly directly from mainland China to Cam Ranh International Airport, near Nha Trang. They must also leave Vietnam through the same airport.
The exemption does not cover independent travelers, tourists without an eligible all‑inclusive package, or those entering or leaving Vietnam through other border checkpoints. Holders of passports issued by Hong Kong and Macau are also excluded.
Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Public Security are responsible for issuing guidance on the implementation procedures and entry requirements. The main point is that only qualified Chinese tour groups can travel visa‑free under the strict rules.
