Vietnam Airlines will start a new direct flight between Hanoi and Hangzhou on 22 November. The new route is important for travelers and for business between Vietnam and China.
The airline will run four round‑trip flights each week – on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Each flight will take about three hours. The service is meant to make it easier for people to visit Hangzhou and to help trade between the two countries.
Deputy general director Nguyen Quang Trung said the Hanoi‑Hangzhou flight is the next step in Vietnam Airlines’ plan to grow its international network and to support trade and tourism, even though the market faces challenges. With Hangzhou added, the airline will have seven direct routes to China. Round‑trip tickets start at VND7.25 million (US$279.5) for bookings made by 26 October 2026 for travel between 22 November 2026 and 31 March 2027.
The new route shows how Vietnam Airlines is expanding to help business and tourism in the region. Travelers can look forward to more flight options and lower prices.
