Vietnam Culture Day 2026 brings many free and high‑tech activities to Ho Chi Minh City. You can see art, history and modern technology without spending money.
The city will give free or discounted entry to students, workers and tourists at museums, theatres, circuses, cinemas and other cultural service providers from November 18 to 24. This means many people can see shows and exhibitions without paying.
According to the plan, Ho Chi Minh City will host 3D mapping shows on the façade of the People's Committee headquarters and the Rex Hotel from November 21 to 24. The shows will combine sound, lighting and projections to show cultural and historical images. A special art program with fireworks will be broadcast live from three locations on the evening of November 24.
From November 22 to 24, organizers will set up interactive spaces that introduce cinema, performing arts, software, entertainment games, handicrafts, advertising, cultural tourism and digital transformation, and they will offer hands‑on activities. Digital technology, virtual reality and augmented reality will be used to present heritage, cultural products and tourist destinations. Visitors can try these new tools and learn about Vietnamese culture in a modern way.
