Emergency workers went to the site in Ultimo at 11am on Monday.
Other buildings near the site were emptied to be safe.
Two men were badly hurt when a building fell down in Sydney.
The building fell down next to a gas station in Ultimo on Monday at 11am.
A wall and roof fell on cars, and two men were taken to the hospital.
One man was taken to St Vincent's Hospital, and the other to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Five other people were checked by paramedics but did not need to go to the hospital.
The authorities are checking if the building can fall down more.
Fire and Rescue Acting Superintendent Peter Murray said it was a big roof collapse.
A part of the building fell down, and debris fell on cars in the gas station.
It was a very dangerous situation with bricks and walls falling down.
It was lucky that more people were not hurt.
Bricks fell on cars parked next to the building.
It was really scary
Ashleigh White, who manages a building behind the site, said a tenant told her about the collapse.
The building behind the site was made to be safe from earthquakes.
About 50 to 100 people were moved out of the area.
They were worried, but they all got out quickly, and the police helped them.
Mr Khorianto was making coffee when he heard the building fall down.
Ryan Khorianto was working at a cafe when he heard a big noise.
He stopped making coffee and ran out to see what happened, and it was really scary.

Acting Superintendent Murray said no one was missing, but they are still checking.
Firefighters are still at the site to make sure it is safe.
They are using drones to check the site without putting firefighters in danger.
The gas station was closed to be safe.
They are checking the air and looking for any hazards like gas or electricity.
NSW Police and emergency workers are at the site.
Three teams of firefighters and many ambulance units are at the site.
The building that fell down was going to be torn down and replaced with a new one.
The company in charge of the development was asked for a comment.
The site is now being checked by SafeWork NSW to see what happened.
