The movie started on July 31 and became number one, beating The Odyssey.

Big opening

Spider-Man: Brand New Day had the biggest opening day for a foreign film in Vietnam in 2026.

By August 2, the film made over VND 88 billion. It is doing very well.

People think the movie will make over VND 100 billion by August 3 if it keeps doing well.

Some people think it could even make VND 200 billion, which would be a record.

The film is also doing well in other countries.

In North America, it made USD 72 million in just 48 hours, which is a new record.

The Odyssey is still popular

The Odyssey is still doing well, even though it is not number one anymore.

The Odyssey has made almost VND 83 billion and might make it to the VND 100 billion club.

Detective Conan: Fallen Angel is in third place with VND 114 billion.

Minions & Monsters is in fourth place with VND 158 billion.

Wonderland is fifth, but it did not do as well as the others.

For the first time, all the top five movies in Vietnam are from other countries.
