The police searched a store on Mau Than Street as part of a campaign against fake products. They found shoes and sandals with famous brands that are protected in Vietnam, priced from a few hundred thousand to several million dong.

Tan could not show where the goods came from. The police took 1,520 pairs of shoes with brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Hermes.

Tan said the business had sold fake products worth over VND200 million.

Two other store owners are also accused.

The police raided another store on June 5 and found workers making fake sandals with brands like Hermes and Gucci.

The sandals were sold on social media for between VND600,000 and VND2.2 million. The police took 1,716 finished products and equipment worth over VND1.4 billion.

The owner, Huynh Phuong Duy, said production started in March 2025. He and another person were named as accused on August 11.

The police searched another store and found 2,949 fake items with brands like Hermes and Louis Vuitton. The owner, Huynh Thanh Hien, was named as accused.

Hien said the goods were bought on the market with no documents. The police valued the goods at over VND1.9 billion and named him as accused on August 12.
