How Vietnam Airlines Handles In‑Flight Medical Emergencies

Flight VN35 from Ho Chi Minh City to Munich was diverted to Islamabad, Pakistan after a German male passenger suffered a seizure. The cabin crew gave immediate help and a doctor on board recommended an urgent landing for treatment.
After the passenger received care, the aircraft was refueled, cleared, and expected to continue to Munich. Vietnam Airlines also gave support to passengers who missed their connections because of the diversion. This is not the first such case: flight VN38 on September 5 landed in Yangon for a pregnant passenger, and flights VN524 (June 24) and VN36 (January 7) diverted to Hong Kong and Kolkata for medical emergencies.
Vietnam Airlines advises travelers to check their health before flying, see a doctor if needed, and tell the airline about any symptoms. These steps help the airline act quickly and keep the journey safe.
