Nguyen Hoai Nam Anh, known as Ben Nguyen, will drive car number 3 for Evans GP in the World Cup. The official FIA entry list confirms he is the only driver representing Vietnam in this year’s tournament.

Ben says that simply being on the starting grid is already a milestone for Vietnamese formula racing. He hopes to learn the challenging 6.12 km Guia Circuit, stay consistent and finish the races without major errors.

Ben is a first‑year Motorsports Engineering student at Purdue University in the United States. His mother, Nguyen Thu Huong, was crowned Miss Sports Vietnam in 1995 and later became a runner‑up at Mrs. World 2011.

Ben’s participation shows that a young Vietnamese driver can reach an international platform, inspiring other aspiring racers in the country. It marks a step forward for Vietnam’s presence in formula racing and may encourage further development of the sport at home.
