How Unitree’s H2‑X Combines Strength and AI to Act Like a Bodyguard

The video shows the robot disarming a knife‑wielding intruder, lifting a car to free a trapped person, pulling a pedestrian away from an oncoming vehicle, and smashing a car door. These scenes highlight the range of tasks the robot is designed to handle in a security role.
The H2‑X is built on Unitree’s H2 humanoid platform. It stands 1.8 m tall, weighs about 70 kg, has 31 degrees of freedom and can produce up to 360 Nm of torque at each leg joint.
Unitree introduced the UnifoLM‑X2‑1.0 AI model to enable humanoid robots to practice combat movements autonomously, including punching, blocking and dodging. This AI gives the robot the ability to decide and execute fighting techniques without direct human control.
Overall, the H2‑X’s powerful mechanical design together with its autonomous combat AI lets it perform realistic bodyguard actions such as disarming attackers and rescuing victims. The combination shows a clear step toward practical security robots in the near future.
