Changi Airport’s Attractions and Food Earn Top Global Awards

The awards were decided by a survey of 9,000 hospitality industry professionals, including luxury travel advisers, hotel leaders, and Forbes Travel Guide inspectors and trainers. This shows the awards are based on expert opinions.
The airport’s attractions include the Rain Vortex waterfall, a 24‑hour cinema, and a large public art collection. One art piece, Kinetic Rain, is a sculpture of 1,216 metal droplets that move to make changing shapes.
Changi also has more than 200 places to eat, from Singapore‑style buns to Italian pasta, with meals costing less than S$10 (US$7.83) up to higher‑priced restaurant meals. This variety helped it win the dining award.
Earlier this year, Changi also won Skytrax’s World’s Best Airport title for a record 14th time. The airport’s many attractions and food choices show why it is considered world‑class.
