A former Coronation Street star got a big role in a movie sequel. Cassie Bradley will play a young witch named Hannah in Practical Magic.

Her character's magic starts to show. This causes big events as she tries to control her actions. She will star with big names like Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

The movie first came out in 1998. Now, Cassie, 32, is ready for the role. She was on Coronation Street from January to June 2019. Her character, Natalie Watkins, left Weatherfield quickly.

The former waitress did bad things in Weatherfield. She helped take £80,000 from Audrey Roberts with David Platt.

Practical Magic 2 comes out on September 11 in the UK. It's been almost 30 years since the first one.

Warner Bros showed the first trailer in April. It gave fans a look at the sequel before it comes out later this year.

The sequel is about the Owens sisters fighting a dark curse that threatens their family.

Sandra, 61, and Nicole, 58, will play Sally and Gillian Owens again. The story picks up 25 years after the first movie.

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman were in Practical Magic.

Fans will see Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest again as aunts Frances and Jet. They look very good, maybe because of witchcraft.

The sequel also stars Joey King and Maisie Williams as Sally's grown daughters. Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod play their love interests.

Evan Rachel Wood won't be in the sequel. She said on social media that she offered to be in it, but they are recasting. She's sorry to disappoint fans.
