Chris Brown Admits to Fight in London Nightclub

Chris Brown said he was guilty of a fight charge on Friday. This was about a fight in a London nightclub three years ago.

Brown changed his plea during a court hearing in London. He had said before that he didn't do anything wrong in the 2023 fight.

The court dropped other charges against Brown because he said he was guilty. These charges included hurting someone badly and having a weapon.

Another man, Omololu Akinlolu, also said he was guilty of the same charge. This charge is for fighting in a public place.

Brown, who is 37, was let out of jail on bail again. He will be sentenced for the fight charge on October 26.

Brown is accused of attacking a music producer named Amadou Diaw. This happened in a London nightclub in February 2023.

A prosecutor said Brown hit Diaw with a tequila bottle and then punched and kicked him.

The fight was recorded by a security camera in the nightclub.

A prosecutor said the attack was very violent and Brown used a glass bottle as a weapon.

The prosecutor also said that this kind of violence is not acceptable and the law will pursue cases like this.

Last July, Brown said he was not guilty of hurting someone and having a weapon.

Akinlolu also said he was not guilty of hurting someone.

Brown was first charged with hurting someone badly, but then more charges were added.

Brown was released from jail on bail last May and was able to start his tour.

A judge said Brown could continue his tour but had to pay bail to guarantee he would show up in court.

Brown's bail conditions include giving up his passport and not contacting the man he fought.
