Brad Pitt started drinking again after 7 years of not drinking. He drinks, but not a lot.

Pitt shared this news in an interview with Esquire. He even offered the interviewer some wine.

Pitt said, 'I was sober for 7 years. Then I started drinking again, but not too much.'

Now, Pitt can have a few glasses of wine, but he can't have too much.

He said, 'I have to be careful about drinking.'

Before, Pitt talked to GQ about being sober in 2017. He said he couldn't remember a day without drinking after college.

At that time, Pitt said he had stopped doing everything except drinking when he started a family.

He said, 'I'm happy it's been 6 months since I stopped drinking. I can feel my feelings again.'

In 2019, Pitt talked to the New York Times about being sober. He finished a 12-step program.

Pitt said, 'The program was helpful. Men were honest with each other, and it felt safe.'

Pitt looked back on his life and remembered a hard time. He felt like he didn't know what to do.

Pitt said, 'I was never going to hurt myself. I'm an optimist, and that helps me.'

He said, 'But I did feel a lot of pain once. It was so bad that I thought about relief.'

Pitt said, 'Life is hard, but I won the lottery.'

When asked what happened, Pitt said, 'Family stuff,' but didn't say more.

Pitt said, 'Let's leave it at that.'

Pitt talked about feeling sad and said it's 'profound beauty.'

He said, 'Feeling sad can leave a big hole, but it's also beautiful.'

Pitt didn't say what happened during his hard time, but he had a big fight with his ex-wife.

His ex-wife said Pitt hurt her and their kids on a plane in 2016.

The FBI looked into what happened on the plane, but they didn't do anything.

Pitt and his ex-wife finally agreed on a divorce in 2024.

They were together for 12 years and have 6 kids. They're both famous actors.

Pitt said he's open to using artificial intelligence in movies.

He said, 'AI can help make movies with smaller budgets.'
