BigBang’s First Hanoi Concert Marks a Turning Point for Vietnamese Fans and the Music Scene

BigBang performed at My Dinh National Stadium on October 24 2026, marking the group’s first concert in Hanoi. The show was part of their 20th‑anniversary world tour, a milestone that draws attention to K‑pop’s growing presence in Vietnam.

The stage stretched 64 metres across, matching the scale of the group’s set in Goyang, South Korea. Two huge LED screens flanked the platform and a 23‑ton mobile LED display moved across the stage, creating a visual impact that few local concerts can match.

Fans such as 28‑year‑old Lan Anh cheered for hours, saying the concert revived memories of their youth. She added that hearing the old songs live felt like a journey back to her teenage years.

Renowned Vietnamese singer Tung Duong described the event as memorable for K‑pop fans and emphasized its importance for Vietnam’s music industry. He praised BigBang’s distinctive style and noted that the concert could inspire local artists to aim for higher production standards.

The show also featured elaborate stage effects, fireworks and pyrotechnics, while the members greeted the audience in Vietnamese with “Xin chao, Ha Noi.” These elements show how a single K‑pop concert can shape fan experiences and encourage the Vietnamese music scene to adopt larger‑scale productions.
